Description

This Webinar will address the fundamental aspects of documenting loss of earning capacity, AND future medical/personal costs in all types of personal injury cases, i.e., product liability, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability.  In personal injury cases in which an attorney needs either to document losses, or refute unreasonable claims, the Vocational Expert (VE) and Life Care Planner (LCP) are essential components of a case. The VE can assist by documenting what jobs a person can perform post-injury (if any), how many of these jobs exist in a specific geographical area, and what these jobs pay. This process lays the foundation for the calculation of wage loss or loss of earning capacity.  The role of the Life Care Planner, especially in catastrophic cases, is to document the current and future medical and personal needs of individuals.  A Life Care Plan is a road map of care which identifies reasonable costs associated with any serious impairment, both now and in the future.

Who should attend: Either plaintiff or defense attorneys who practice in the area of personal injury litigation where loss of earning capacity and future medical/personal costs need to be documented.
