Financial statements are the vehicle for a business to communicate its financial condition and the results of its operations. In A Lawyer’s Guide to Financial Analysis (Part One) we explored basic financial statements and the concepts for financial statement analysis. On June 24th, A Lawyer’s Guide to Financial Analysis (Part Two) will take the concepts learned in Part One and directly apply them in a side-by-side comparison of the financial statements of three companies. Each company represents a different stage of financial condition, ranging from strong financial health, to fair financial health, to poor financial health. The presentation explores in detail the factors indicating the financial condition of each company, ultimately defining how to diagnose a company's financial health. I.
