Client surveys are a valuable client relations tool. You receive feedback which helps you to enhance the relationship. But satisfaction surveys do much more. They send a message that you care about the client. And, positive feedback from clients is one of the best ways to stimulate referrals and increased business. However there are many obstacles to implementing satisfaction surveys. This 30-minute presentation will discuss overcoming obstacles to implementation, tips for creating your survey questionnaire, techniques for gathering detailed, candid feedback, and follow up strategies to turn positive survey results into more business.

About Speaker: 
Jeffrey Miiller has 14 years of experience in legal marketing as a business development coach and client satisfaction surveyor. He has personally conducted hundreds of client satisfaction interviews for law firms of all sizes across the country. He has also personally conducted over 7,000 individual consultations with attorneys and legal marketing professionals to help them enhance their business development efforts. His degree from Arizona State University in Broadcast Journalism has served him well in his ability to interview subjects and extract candid feedback. He has taught at UCLA Extension, provided continuing legal education courses on client relations, and has spoken at chapters of the Legal Marketing Association and the Association of Legal Administrators. Additionally, Mr. Miiller has published in Lawyers Weekly, the L.A. Business Journal, Strategies; the Journal of Legal Marketing and the ABA’s The Practical Lawyer.
